Privacy Policy
CureAI · Last updated 6 August 2026
CureAI (“we”, “us”) provides a telehealth platform that connects patients with doctors, diagnostic labs and pharmacies. This policy explains what personal and health information we collect through our website and mobile apps, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details — name, username, phone number, email address and password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Health information — age, gender, medical history, symptoms, consultation notes and voice transcriptions, prescriptions, lab test orders and results, uploaded scan reports (ECG, X-ray, CT, MRI and similar) and vital records.
- Location and address — city, state, PIN code and pickup address, used to schedule home sample collection and to match you with nearby labs, pharmacies and clinics.
- Payments — consultation and test fees, amounts and status. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
- Device and usage data — device type, operating system, app version and a push notification token when you allow notifications.
How we use your information
- To deliver care: booking appointments, running consultations, generating prescriptions, ordering tests and returning results.
- To power AI features that summarise consultations, suggest relevant diagnostic tests, analyse uploaded scans and generate diet plans. These outputs are decision-support tools for your doctor — they are not a diagnosis and never replace clinical judgement.
- To send appointment reminders, delay alerts, result notifications and other service messages by SMS, email or push notification.
- To process payments and produce invoices.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Automated processing and AI providers
To generate summaries, test suggestions and scan analyses, the relevant clinical text or image is sent to third-party AI providers that process it on our behalf under contract, and do not use it to train their models. We share only what the feature needs — we do not send your name, phone number or address with these requests.
Who we share it with
- Your care team — the doctor you consult, the lab or collection agent handling your tests, and the pharmacy fulfilling your prescription, each limited to the records needed for that task.
- Service providers — hosting, SMS, email, payment and AI vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal — where required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or to protect the safety of a person.
We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications in the mobile app, we store a device token so we can send you appointment, result and prescription updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings; the token is then no longer used.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on access-controlled servers. Passwords are hashed, sessions expire, and staff access is restricted by role — a pharmacist, for example, cannot see your lab results. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your login credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.
How long we keep it
Medical records are retained for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period required by applicable medical record-keeping rules. Data no longer needed for care, legal or accounting purposes is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights and account deletion
You can access and correct your profile details in the app at any time. To request a copy of your data, or to delete your account and associated records, email us at [email protected] from the address registered on your account. We will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain.
Children
CureAI is intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage a profile for a minor and is responsible for the information they provide.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
